Help make the 2026 Single Mothers Conference a SUCCESS STORY!
We need many people to help ensure that attendees and their children have a safe and positive experience. The Single Mothers’ Conference Volunteer Registration site will ask you to indicate which type of volunteer role you prefer. NOTE: we will try to honor your preferences but reserve the right to assign you where we have the greatest need.
Check-in of volunteers, attendees, and/or Community Connections: Verify attendees’ online pre-registrations, assist walk-ins with online registrations, issue wrist bands for guests, moms and children, note any special needs, and provide conference materials.
Workshop Liaison: Work with workshop speakers to guide them around the venue and ensure that they have all the necessary equipment for their presentation
Community Connections Liaison: Show Exhibitors to their stations and help them with set-up and take down (10:00 – 2:00)
Hospitality: Assist with set-up, serving, and clean-up of breakfast, lunch or snacks, and replenishing supplies as needed; May need to pick up food/drinks at providers’ locations
General Support: Assist with conference set-up (including Friday evening), direct attendees to proper destinations, notify leadership of conference needs, security, or safety concerns
Childcare Provider: Supervise and engage in age-appropriate activities for children while mothers are at the conference. Childcare providers must provide a current and valid PA Child Abuse Clearance
In-home Volunteer Work: Assemble Swag and other giveaways
Traffic Control: Direct attendees and exhibitors where to park and where to check in
