The Chester County Community Collaborative is comprised of dedicated individuals from non-profit agencies and independent interests working for the betterment of single mothers in our area. In 2021, the Collaborative officially incorporated as its own 501c3 non-profit. Individuals from the following organizations are part of the collaborative:
The Chester County Community Collaborative enables the collective resources fo Chester County to empower the underserved. Specifically, the Collaborative is the home of the Chester County Single Mothers’ Conference (SMC) and Black Women of Chester County in Action (BWCCA) – whose principals participate in the SMC. We:
· Serve as a fiscal agent for approved services and programs that are consistent with our mission, as the collaborative’s resources permit
· Act as an Advisory Council with an objective ear and non-binding insight
· Link these services and programs to community resources that can help them achieve their missions
