Good Samaritan Services
Responding with compassion to the challenges of poverty-related needs across Lancaster and Chester Counties, Good Samaritan Services takes a customized approach to helping men, women, and children overcome homelessness and hardships. Good Sam serves up to 200 people a day; providing a flexible spectrum of services ranging from emergency shelter to permanent housing, along with financial empowerment programs to help people get back on their feet in a sustainable way.

North Star of Chester County
North Star of Chester County guides Chester County’s single working parents with dependent children, who are at risk of homelessness, toward stability and financial independence. We help our participant families remain in clean, safe, affordable housing as they work to secure their future through a structured program of financial assistance, mentoring and supportive services.

Chester County Intermediate Unit
The Chester County Intermediate Unit provides services to the 12 school districts in Chester County. This includes services to nearly 86,000 public and non-public school students and over 6,000 educators. CCIU’s major services include: special education and compensatory education programs; career, technical and customized education; mentor training and staff development; technology initiatives; consortia for school business operations; and curriculum services.
