Do You Know an Outstanding Single Mother?
In memory of the late Belinda R. Harrison, the Chester County Community Collaborative is seeking nominations for the Belinda R. Harrison Award. Belinda Harrison, a single mother who worked tirelessly for years in Chester County’s social services and in her community, dedicated her life to empowering women and the underserved.
This award will be given to a single mother residing in Chester County. The nominee must be a single mother who overcame adversity, is working, and active in her community. She should be selfless, kind and one who promotes strong family unity.
The theme this year is “Single Doesn’t Mean Alone.” If you know of a single mother that stands out, we want to know about her!

This award will be presented at the 2018 Single Mothers’ Conference to be held on Saturday, April 14th at B. Reed Henderson High School in West Chester.
