Please briefly tell us about the nominee:

Congratulations to the 2019 Winner of the Belinda Harrison Award: Ms. Angela Moyer!

Last year’s winner is an amazing single mom who has not only provided for her family, but also for those in her community. She is actively involved in her church and her place of employment at a homeless shelter for men and women. A few years ago, due to unforeseen circumstances, Angela found herself and two children unstably housed. She connected with a Chester County agency to obtain affordable housing, secure a full-time position, obtain her own transportation, and set her children up with the resources they needed.

This award is given to a single mother residing in Chester County. The nominee must be a single mother who overcame adversity, is working, and active in her community. She should be selfless, kind and one who promotes strong family unity.
